Some CSRA teachers received a helping hand Wednesday.
Kroger gave away more than $24,000 worth of school supplies at Westside High School.
It's all through the "Earning Plus Learning" program.
Each teacher received about $40 worth of construction paper, markers, scotch tape, and much more.
"We are looking to give a couple of thousand of teachers school supplies just to alleviate some of the pressure that they go through when they have to spend money out of their own pockets to supply their classrooms so that the students will have an effective school year," said Laquita Park, of Kroger. "So it's a huge event, the teachers are grateful, they are very, very appreciative, so Kroger is really happy to give back to the community."
