The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the identities of the two victims in Sunday's fatal accident that occurred on the 2900 Block of Ulm Road, in Hephzibah.

Officials say, Sunday evening at approximately 6:24 p.m., Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies and Traffic Investigators responded to the 2900 block of Ulm Road in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the driver of a motorcycle lost control and struck two pedestrians and also struck a single vehicle. Kyterian Andres Jones, 25, of Knollcrest Road in Hephzibah, was the driver of the motorcycle. He and and pedestrian Marcus Kelly, 23, of Woodchuck Way in Hephzibah, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Jerome Gilmore, a second pedestrian, sustained a broken right leg and a laceration to his left leg. Gilmore was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center for medical treatment.

The Richmond County Coroner's Office is helping in this investigation.

Richmond County Sheriff's Office investigators tell WJBF News Channel 6, two people are dead after a crash in south Augusta.

Dispatch says the call came in shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators say the accident happened on the 2900 block of Ulm Road. That's just off Willis Foreman Road.

Investigators say the motorcycle driver lost control and hit 2 pedestrians, and also hit a vehicle.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle and one of the pedestrian died.

The other pedestrian is in the hospital.
