DALLAS, TEXAS – (July 25, 2013) – The MGHerring Group has announced the addition of a Cabela's Outpost store and Riverwatch 14 Cinemas to the Village at Riverwatch in Augusta, Georgia. Both are scheduled to open in 2014.

Cabela's, the World's Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, plans to begin construction this summer. The store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014. The 42,000-square-foot store is designed for efficiency, flexibility and convenience. Cabela's Outpost stores offer the same quality products and customer service for which Cabela's is famous. The Augusta location will feature a Core-Flex floor plan allowing products to be rotated seasonally, as well as a rugged outdoor look and feel. The store is expected to employ approximately 90 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.

Georgia Theatre Company will open the new multimillion-dollar, state-of-the-art theater Riverwatch 14 Cinemas.  The theater will feature 14 auditoriums, each with stadium seating, wide arc screens, Dolby digital stereo sound and Christie digital projection. It will include a four-story-high, Georgia Theatre Xtreme (GTX) auditoriums equipped with Dolby® 7.1 Surround Sound, 3D Digital Cinema technology and luxurious, high-backed rocking chairs.  In-theater dining will also be available in multiple auditoriums. The new theater complex will include a full-service restaurant and party room for special events.  Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2013 and open in the fall of 2014.

WJBF News Channel 6 has learned a movie theater will be coming to the Village at Riverwatch shopping center.

The Executive Director for Augusta Economic Development Authority, Walter Sprouse, confirms that a new movie theater will go up at the Village at Riverwatch complex, where a Costco opened back in 2011.

That is the same shopping center where it was announced Thursday morning that Cabela's will open an Outpost store in the spring of 2014.

Georgia Theatre Company will be operating 14 auditoriums at the complex. Each auditorium will have stadium seating, Dolby digital stereo sound, 3D digital cinema technology. The complex will be a full service restaurant and there will be in-theater dining in at least some of the audioriums.

The name of the theater complex will be Riverwatch 14 Cinemas.

Construction is slated to begin in the fall of 2013 and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.

Georgia Theatre Company also owns and operates the Masters Value Cinemas 7 in Augusta, and the Evans Stadium Cinemas 14 in Evans, as well as dozens of other theaters in Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Virginia.
