Police and Parents in Washington State Combat Teen Drug Use Together

Kronenwetter, WI -

Police in Wisconsin State, along with parents, are starting a new initiative to fight back against young people using drugs.

Testmyteen.com offers at-home drug tests that screens for ten types of drugs... including heroin and marijuana.

Officer Luis Lopez-Serrao, of the Kronenwetter Police Department says testing may stop kids from using drugs in the first place.

"The other half of it is that kids can go to their friends who may be trying to push them into drug use and say, 'I can't do it, because my parents test me.'"

Test my teen-dot-com has resources available... on how to talk to teens about drugs.

Police say communication is key.
