DURHAM, N.C. -

The Durham Bulls is looking for one of its canine mascots that went missing after Saturday's baseball game.

The Durham Bulls Baseball club posted a "lost dog" poster on its Facebook page Saturday for Deuce, one of the canine mascots.

Deuce was last seen running west on Cobb Street at the intersection of Vickers Avenue and Cobb Street in Durham. Deuce had been startked by Saturday's fireworks at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

"It's just been awful," said owner Gene Lonsway. "My boy's out somewhere. He's a bright dog, but he's not very good at taking care of himself in the real world. And then, I've been working very hard at getting the word out."

Deuce had performed at Saturday's game with his brother Ace, the fifth time the two had performed together.

Lonsway is hoping someone sees the dog and will return Deuce.

Anyone with information is asked to call 919-968-3647.
