Three people were seriously injured Saturday morning after a crash involving two motorcycles in Athens County.
According to the Athens post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 9:28 a.m. Saturday along U.S. 33 in Athens County.
According to troopers, the motorcycles were traveling with a larger group of motorcycles westbound on U.S. 33.
A motorcycle near the front of the group began to slow down and turn right when it was struck by a second motorcycle that was unable to stop.
The driver of the first motorcycle, Raymond Flynn, 48, of Easton, Md., was transported to Grant Medical Center with incapacitating injuries.
Erika Flynn, 48, of Easton, Md., was transported to Grant Medical Center with incapacitating injuries. Troopers said that she was a passenger on Raymond Flynn's motorcycle.
The driver of the second motorcycle, June Rae Murray, 51, of Virginia Beach, Va., was taken to Grant Medical Center with critical injuries.
The patrol said that neither driver was wearing a helmet.
