RALEIGH, N.C. -

A flash mob formed outside the Legislative Building Friday to send a message through song.

The group calls itself the "NC Music Love Army."

The band formed as a result of the Moral Monday movement.

The group sand four original songs aimed at lawmakers and protesting recent legislation.

"What we're really trying to do is be the soundtrack for this movement, for the Moral Monday movement," said group member Caitlin Cary. "For the legislators in that building who are doing the right thing and standing up for what's true and good."

NC Music Love Army plans to sing again at the next Moral Monday event.

The members of NC Music Love Army are planning to release an album to raise money for various organizations involved in the protests, including Planned Parenthood.
