Fayetteville police make arrest in Bullock St. homicide

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
Fayetteville police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting on Bullock Street early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 12:20 a.m. at the 800 block of Bullock St. An investigation determined that a verbal dispute began at a residence and ended with the victim being shot and killed.
Detectives have arrested and charged Marlon Dwayne Underwood, 38, with first-degree murder. Underwood is being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
Authorities have identified the victim as Robert Lamont Currie, 42. No other additional information has been released in connection with the case.
