The victim, age 19, told police that she went to a female friend's house to spend some time with her Saturday night. The friend later left that house after a while and the victim was left alone with the suspect and his parents, who were asleep in their own room.
At some point, the pair ended up in the suspect's room where "the arrestee began trying to kiss her and she told him ‘no,'" police said in a report.

The woman then took her baby and left the house, walking down the road to wait on her parents to pick her up.
At the hospital, police said she had scratches on the side of head and to her neck. The child did not seem to be hurt.
Police went to the suspect's home and his father allowed them inside. Both parents signed a form allowing a search of his room.
