The budget is the hot topic for the Richmond County School System.
Thursday they plan on having it all finalized.
The board of education faces a 23-million dollar shortfall.
The new budget will include job cuts, larger class sizes and an increase in property taxes.
75 teaching positions are on the chopping block, as well as 22 para-professionals, and 30 custodians. In addition - the staff will be asked to take 8 furlough days.
