UPDATED ON 6: Suspect Sought In Deadly Shooting in Augusta

 Richmond County Sheriff's Office investigators have released more information about an early morning deadly shooting on Massoit Drive, in which Yossarian Shon Brooks died.

Investigators have been able to obtain a description of the suspect and suspect vehicle. Your help is needed to identify the suspect further.

The suspect is described as being a black male between 5'09"– 6'00" tall, and weighing 180-220 pounds. He is believed to be between 30- to 39-years-old. He was also described as having a low haircut, a medium to light complexion, and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Investigators recovered spent cartridges from a 9mm Luger at the scene.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chrysler 300.

One man is dead following a shooting on the 3600 block of Massoit Drive. 

That's located just off of Barton Chapel Road.

Richmond County's Deputy Coroner, Kenneth Boose says 39-year-old Yossarian Shon Brooks was shot at least twice. 

Brooks was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Right now, the investigation is in its preliminary stages.

An autopsy will be performed at the Augusta Branch of the GBI Crime Lab later Tuesday morning.
