Bartow man accused of abusing 2 teen girls

Posted: Updated:
BARTOW, FL (WFLA) -

A Bartow man is accused of abusing two teenage girls, both of whom were living in his home at the time of the alleged crimes.

Detectives say two girls, 17 and 14 years old, were living in Jon A. Klein's home.  Klein, 31, had a relationship with the 14-year-old's mother.  The 17-year-old is referred to as being "under his custody."

The older teenager, who stayed at the house temporarily, reported to the police that Klein rubbed her chest area in a lewd manner when she was asleep.  A police report states she told him to stop, but he wouldn't, and she had to force him off her.

The 17-year-old also told the detectives Klein had called her "sexy," and slapped her on the buttocks before. He showed her porn on his smartphone at least once, according to the BPD report.

The younger girl claimed Klein had been sexually abusing her since she was 11.

When the detectives interviewed Klein, they say he admitted to the acts, saying he was drunk at the time.

Jon Klein is in Polk County jail on charges of sexual battery of a child less then 12 by a custodial offender, child abuse, child molestation and other charges.
