Winter Haven Police looking for missing 16-year-old girl

WINTER HAVEN, FL (WFLA) -

Winter Haven Police are asking for the public's help in locating 16-year-old Allyssa Marie Atkinson after she went missing on Monday.

Police officials say on Monday at approximately 11:44 a.m., Allyssa Atkinson was transported to 550 Pope Avenue NW by a DCF worker for a medical appointment.  Atkinson left the medical facility when she was left unattended. 

Officials say Atkinson is a white female, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jean shorts, pink socks. She is believed to frequent the Auburndale area.
