Dr. Kevin Steele of National Hills Baptist Church and Reverend Ken Gross, Chaplin for the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, will be officiating the services.

In addition to being a Deputy with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, Creech was a Petty Officer 3rd class E-4, in the Navy Reserves. He was born on October 10, 1980, and he joined the Sheriff's Office on August 2, 2003, and his End of Watch was May 17th, 2013.

Creech is survived by his wife, Amanda Aycox Creech; his father, Raymond Edward Creech; his mother (deceased) Laura Creech; his brother, Kenneth Bedgood; and his sister, Angela Yearty.

Pallbearers will be from within the Richmond County Sheriff's Office Motors Unit: Deputy Daniel Puckett, Deputy Brian Johnson, Deputy William Wright, Deputy Daniel Burlingham, Deputy Steven Jones, and Deputy William Geisen. Honorary Pallbearers will include all RCSO Law Enforcement Personnel and other agency Law Enforcement personnel in attendance at the funeral.

Creech had a passion for law enforcement, loved his fellow deputies, the Motors Unit and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. He was working on a project in an effort to purchase top of the line safety vests for the RCSO Motors Unit. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to help facilitate the purchase of these bullet resistant safety vests for his fellow Deputies. Donations may be made to R.C.S.O.W.A. (Richmond County Sheriff s Office Wives Auxiliary), P.O. Box 3142, Evans, Ga. 30809 in honor of Deputy Alton Creech.
