About Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, has been serving families who come from far and wide seeking world-class medical treatment for their critically ill, seriously ill, or injured child, since November of 1984.  Every day, up to eleven (11) families are provided a safe and comfortable place to stay, while their loved one receives medical care at one of our local hospitals.  We believe in our vision to "Create a Caring Community for Families." This is shown everyday of the year through trained volunteers and professional staff that provide essential services and compassionate programs, which aid in directly improving the health and well being of children and meeting the needs of their respective families. The Augusta House takes care of the routine needs for hundreds of families annually, so they can recharge and focus their energies on the all-consuming medical struggle confronting their loved one(s).
