PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco revealed details of an undercover sting called Operation Consequence.

Bondi and Nocco said that during the 5-month long operation, PCSO Vice/Narcotics unit detectives worked from tips regarding synthetic drug sales in the county.

Working undercover, the deputies purchased synthetic drugs at the following stores: Super K at 12838 US 19 in Hudson, Mobil gas station at 7011 Massachusetts Ave in New Port Richey and at Boost Mobile store at 3448 Grand Blvd in Holiday.

The drugs undercover deputies purchased had packaging names like Platinum and AK47 and tested positive for a cannabinoid XLR11, which is now a controlled substance under Florida law.

PSCO deputies arrested four people in connection with Operation Consequence.

Nocco and Bondi said they have been vigilant in keeping synthetic drugs off the streets.
