Two suspects wanted in connection to recent attacks in downtown Augusta and on the Augusta Riverwalk have been returned to Augusta and are currently in the Richmond County Jail.

Domonique Shantae Hale and Robey Eugene Moses waived extradition and were brought back to Augusta from Newberry, South Carolina where they were arrested.

Richmond County investigators have identified the second suspect in connection with the aggravated assault and robbery that occurred at the Augusta Riverwalk last week as Robey Eugene Moses. Moses is charged with 2 counts of robbery by Force and aggravated assault.

Moses, along with Domonique Shantae Hale, was also identified in another aggravated assault the night before that occurred on Broad Street. Both Moses and Hale are in custody in Newberry, South Carolina and Richmond County Sheriff's Office investigators are currently in Newberry interviewing the suspects.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office credits the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Fugitive Task Force, Newberry Police Department and the Newberry County Sheriff's Department with the apprehension of Moses and Hale.
