Augusta, GA -

Dogs from a local K-9 unit will be getting some help in the Project Paws Alive Day.

Project Paws Alive, Inc. is partnering up with the Augusta GreenJackets, raising money for the Richmond County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit.

The fundraiser will be held at the Augusta GreenJackets game Sunday at 2 p.m. against Asheville Tourists baseball team.

If you arrive early to the game, you can see a pre-game K9 demo, a K9 handler singing the national anthem, and one of the dogs will "catch" the first pitch.

The GreenJackets have online ticket sales available for the game. You can go to http://tinyurl.com/am95nmc and enter the special promo code "PAWS."

$2 from every ticket sold through this link with the special code will be donated to the Project Paws Alive's Richmond County Sheriff's Office K-9 fund.
