Six people are behind bars in the Aiken County jail after they were arrested Friday morning in North Augusta, South Carolina.
Agents with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) say it was the result of a traffic stop, which also involved one of the suspects resisting arrest.
Investigators from several agencies were called out to the Waffle House parking lot on Martintown Road shortly before 4:00 a.m. Deputies from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office joined ATF agents on the scene, as well as members of the Richmond County Bomb Squad
The bomb squad was called out to check out a suspicious vehicle, but found everything to be okay.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is also investigating this case. ATF's job is to check out violent crimes, guns, and explosive devices.
