Augusta, GA -

A Tennessee man is behind bars in Augusta for resisting arrest by Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies at Augusta National Golf Club (AGNC).

Officials tell us, on Wednesday April 10th, 2013 at approximately 9:30 a.m., 52-year-old Larry Patrick Craft, of Lyles, Tennessee was advised to not enter ANGC property due to his aggressive behavior towards patrons and their religious beliefs based on how the patrons were dressed.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., officials say Craft entered AGNC property. Deputies approached Craft and advised him to depart the property. He then allegedly became argumentative with the deputies and told them he "was not going to leave". At that time, deputies attempted to take Craft into police custody, which resulted in his arrest.

Due to Craft's aggressive actions towards deputies, Craft was taken to the ground and subsequently arrested. Craft was transported to the Richmond County Jail and charged with 1 count of Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer and 1 count of Criminal Trespass.

Our cameras were rolling at the time of the incident and we captured part of the incident on video.
