People from all across the United States, including Arizona, New Jersey, and even right here in Georgia, came for the world's largest web festival. And as I mentioned, it wasn't just creators from the states, people came to this year's festivities from all around the world including Canada, England, and even as far as Australia. The 2013 L.A. Web Fest included the screening of over 200 shows that are seen all across the internet and several panel discussions talking about how to transition from the web to television and is the web the new wave of entertainment.
It looks like Jimmy Fallon is taking over! The executives of NBC confirmed that Fallon will be replacing Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" next spring. NBC executives say they are worried that they are losing younger viewers to ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live. "The Tonight Show" will also relocate from L.A. to its original home in New York City.
The First Lady of the United States is thrilled about the new film "42", and she wants everyone to join in her excitement. First Lady Obama hosted a viewing of the film and an interactive discussion for high school and college students. "42" tells the story of legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson and the integration of baseball. "42" opens in theatres Friday, April 12th.
