Some students at Wilcox County High are fighting back against their school's segregated prom.
The south Georgia school holds one prom is for white students and one for students of color.
Now, a group of seniors decided to create their own student-sponsored prom.
They say that they're embarrassed that they have two proms and they feel like things should be different.
One senior says, "People around here are set in their ways, they are not to adamant to change."
"If we don't change it nobody else will" says another student.
The senior class is raising money to pay for the integrated prom, without the help of school officials.
The students say the school offered a resolution to permit an integrated prom for all students to attend, but not stop segregated proms.
