The National Rifle Association is set to make a big announcement Tuesday. The group is expected to outline recommendations for preventing gun violence at schools.
The NRA first announced the National School Shield Program in December in response to the Newtown, Connecticut school massacre.
A website pledged to report back with a set of school safety proposals. The report is expected to include training recommendations to prepare armed guards at schools and legislative proposals for Congress.
