An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death of a 29-year-old Aiken woman.

Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputies say Lukisha Thomas, her 2-year-old son, and Ray Wooden. Jr. were walking along York Street, when a Jeep drove off the road and hit them.

The accident happened about 2:00 p.m. Saturday. The three victims were transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center, where Thomas died in surgery.

There's no word yet on what charges the driver may face.
