We continue to follow the inspirational story of 10-year-old Sean Powell, who was diagnosed last year with brain cancer.
Sean is now being treated at the Children's Hospital of Georgia, in Augusta, fighting a fungal infection in his lungs.
All Sean wanted was 100 "likes" on his Facebook page...but since our story aired on WJBF News Channel 6 Wednesday, those numbers are much bigger.
We are happy to report that the "Sean's Soldiers" Facebook page hit 10,000 "likes" within the past 30 minutes.
Sean loves Facebook, so when he went into the hospital a few weeks ago, all he wanted was for people to "like" the page his grandma started called "Sean's Soldiers".
"When we re-aired the story during "Good Morning Augusta" Thursday morning, there were around 7,700 "likes". Now, more than 2,000 of you have added to it.
His grandma reads these responses to him everyday to keep him fighting to stay alive. If you want to show your support for this little boy, visit his Facebook page and "like" it.
