We all know by now that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and, although we spoke about it last week, we want to address the topic again this week. But this isn’t just about breast cancer. We want to talk about women’s health, women’s well-being, and how important it is for women to take the time to pay attention to their bodies, minds, and souls. Jane Jenkins Herlong has written books on the topic, and her latest “What Ta-Ta’s Teach Us” is dedicated to her sister… a woman that battled breast cancer but then was taken too soon and unexpectedly because of a heart problem.
Also, during October, Jane is donating a portion of the proceeds from her book sales to the Pink Ribbonettes, the Lydia Project, and other organizations focused on women’s well-being and health.
