Keith Walton spends his days making sure his students strive for fitness. He's a great teacher, inspired by one of his former teachers who taught him the importance of strength and conditioning. He describes what he learned:
" And I started doing that and I saw a change in my body and I saw a change in my speed. Because at that time, you were either fast or you're not fast. And I learned from experience that you can actually teach yourself to be faster. And then I started teaching it to everybody else, and then domino effect."
And even though he is the Strength and Conditioning Coach, his influence is not limited to students playing sports.
"We have groups from athletes, non-athletes, male, female, I even have a mom's group that I work out."
And every group gets the same benefits--a better body and a better mind.
Keith Walton. A man who pushes others to achieve. It's hard work, but the payoff for student and teacher, is well worth it. He tells us,
"Just the excitement of watching someone reach their goal. Seeing that a-ha moment click in their head. Whether it's weight loss, whether it's weight gain, whether it's speed development, or vertical jump, or just a function of them performing on the field, or on the basketball court, or on the baseball field, and you see that one a-ha moment where it all comes together, and they know where it came from, that's an unbelievable feeling."
