Skies will stay cloudy Friday with on and off showers and thunderstorms. The rain activity will be very scattered in nature, with the best rain chances favoring communities along and north of Interstate 20. The clouds and a light northeast wind will keep temperatures well below normal. Highs will only reach the middle 80s. That chance for scattered rain will continue past sunset tonight with lows in the lower 70s.
The unsettled, damp pattern looks to stick around through the weekend and inter early next week. Expect rain chance to hover around 50-60% for Saturday and Sunday. It will not be a complete washout, but showers and thunderstorms will be scattered about the region. The CSRA's best rain chances will come during the afternoon hours. We will start drying things out through the end of next week.
