SUMTER, S.C. (AP) - Sumter County authorities have charged a 20-year-old woman with murder after the body of her live-in boyfriend was found at their home. Sumter County Sheriff's Lt. Robert Burnish said deputies found the body of 21-year-old Mallory Jerell Richardson on the living room floor of a mobile home yesterday.

GREAT FALLS, S.C. (AP) - A 14-year-old boy drowned at Lake Wateree State Park while swimming with his family. Jeramie Coleman drowned yesterday. Fairfield County Coroner Barkley Ramsey says the teen swam too far into the lake and began struggling. Bystanders tried unsuccessfully to rescue him.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - A CSX spokeswoman says it could be weeks before the cause of a train derailment in downtown Spartanburg can be determined. Authorities say a train carrying 90 tanks of ethanol derailed Friday, and crews spent most of the day cleaning up the damage and investigating. No injuries were reported, and no leaks were found.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Jerricho Cotchery doesn't mind being "the old guy" on the Panthers wide receiver corps - just as long as he's the productive old guy. The 32-year-old Cotchery knows the team's younger receivers are looking to him for experience and occasional words of wisdom given his 10 years of NFL experience.
