Coroner Dennis Fowler says in a news release that the body of 17-year-old Anthony Bernard Fair Junior was recovered Saturday night near a hydroelectric dam about 15 feet from shore.  |

| • | Sunday, May 11 5:19 PM Two people died and at least three others were injured in separate motorcycle crashes after the second day of Myrtle Beach's Harley-Davidson spring motorcycle rally. Horry County deputy coroner Tamara Willard says 45-year-old Angelo Gonzalez of Boardman, Ohio, died and a woman was injured Saturday night when their motorcycle hit a truck making a left turn on Kings Highway.  |
| • | Sunday, May 11 4:44 PM Sunday, Governor Sonny Perdue issued an executive order declaring a state of emergency in six counties affected by the severe weather that passed through Georgia Saturday night. The six counties are Bibb, Carroll, Douglas, Jefferson, Johnson and Laurens.  |
| • | Sunday, May 11 4:37 PM According to Scotty McDuffy, the Augusta Red Cross is responding to Jefferson and Jenkins County storm victims. A shelter has been opened in Louisville at Louisville United Methodist Church, at 301 West 7th Street. The shelter is open to anyone displaced from their home due to storm damage.  |

| • | Sunday, May 11 3:35 PM According to Sgt. Richard Roundtree, with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, on Sunday, at approximately 12:05 a.m., deputies responded to 420 East Boundary (East Augusta Commons) in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, the David Christopher Reader, 26, was found slumped over inside of his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. The victim subsequently died at the scene.  |
