There has been another arrest, and yet another bold break-in, in Augusta's Hill area. Richmond County investigators say, Thursday, a suspect forced his way into a screened front porch and tried to get inside a Walton Way home. Detectives say the owner was home at the time, and called deputies. They caught the suspect about half a block from the house.

Augusta, GA -- There has been another arrest, and yet another bold break-in, in Augusta's Hill area.

Richmond County investigators say, Thursday, a suspect forced his way into a screened front porch and tried to get inside a Walton Way home.

Detectives say the owner was home at the time, and called deputies. They caught the suspect about half a block from the house.

Five suspects have been arrested in connection with 12 burglaries in the Hill area over the last several weeks.
