Paige Tucker joined the WJBF News Channel 6 news team in 2004. She was born in Augusta but spent most of her life in Marietta. She hasn’t forgotten where her roots are, though, lots of her family still lives in the area.

Paige bleeds red and black and is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism. During college, she worked at CNN–Financial News in New York and Fox 5 in Atlanta. She also spent time studying in Western Europe, traveling mostly in Switzerland.

Paige loves meeting new people and says that’s one of the best parts of her job. “It’s so nice to get out of the newsroom everyday. And I love the fact that I never know what each day will bring. I literally do something different five days a week.”

During her time at WJBF, Paige has covered several high–profile stories, including the arrest of convicted sex offender John Couey, the disappearance and death of two toddlers in Warrenton, Georgia, and the deadly train crash and chemical spill in Graniteville, South Carolina. All of these local stories garnered extensive national coverage.

When she’s not working, Paige enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. Vacationing at the beach and cheering on the Dawgs are also on Paige’s list of favorite things to do!
