Gas Tax Cut Could Hurt Road Projects
Georgia drivers save at the pump as the gas tax is reduced by four cents down to 14.6 cents. But, the state depends on revenue from the gas tax to fund road construction projects. Southeast Fuel Supplies Improve While Retail Gasoline Prices Likely To Continue Decline
According to a release from AAA, local and visiting motorists traveling in the Southeast this week can breathe a sigh of relief. Areas previously affected by gasoline outages; Atlanta, Nashville and the Western portions of the Carolinas, have improved fuel supplies. While there are still some pockets of gasoline stations without fuel, motorists should have an easier time locating gasoline this week. And more good news…retail gasoline prices should continue to drop.

Atlanta Drivers Follow Fuel Trucks To Next Stop
A temporary fuel shortage is changing some behavior in Atlanta where some drivers were spotted tailing gasoline tanker trucks to their next stop.
SC Attorney General Renews Gouging Investigation
South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster is renewing the state’s prohibition on price gouging as he continues to investigate soaring gas prices. McMaster said Friday his office had fielded more than 4,000 complaints from consumers since he launched his investigation on September 12th.
