Ford Motor Co. says its U.S. sales plummeted 32 percent in December as buyers continued to steer clear of showrooms due to economic uncertainty.

We have the latest from Wall Street. Stock prices are higher in early trading, and gas prices continue to drop…good signs, but far from a sign that the economy is on the mend. ABC News’ Christianne Klein has the story.

A couple weeks ago, people were lining up around the block to fill up and sometimes ‘top off’ with gas that was more than 4 bucks a gallon. Now some drivers are waiting for that magic ‘below three dollars a gallon’ mark. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe has more.
