Punk musician Travis Barker and celebrity disc jockey DJ AM will perform together for the first time since the duo survived a fiery plane crash in South Carolina.

Federal aviation officials say tires on the doomed jet that crashed last month in South Carolina, killing four and injuring two others, shredded as the plane ran out of runway. The National Transportation Safety Board also said Wednesday that adhesive used on reflectors used to mark the runway in Columbia was found near debris from the tires of the Learjet that crashed on takeoff just before midnight Sept. 19.

DJ AM says the burns on his fingers came from trying to pull Travis Barker’s sock off while it was on fire. DJ AM tells People magazine he fell asleep on the runway and the next thing he remembers is crashing into something. DJ AM and Barker survived the plane crash in Columbia, South Carolina, last month.

DJ AM, who survived a plane crash last month in South Carolina, will appear on tour with Jay-Z. DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, will join the rap mogul Wednesday at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, said Jenni Weinman, the celebrity disc jockey’s publicist.

Travis Barker says he always did have a fear of flying. Barker tells Us Weekly magazine he hates planes and his biggest fear ever was to be in a plane crash.

Friends of DJ AM are throwing a party to welcome the celebrity disc jockey home after he survived a fiery plane crash last month in South Carolina. Lexington County Coroner Harry Harman released the information Monday, about two days after the plane crashed while trying to take off at a Columbia, S.C., airport.
