The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into a shooting death, involving an officer, at a Wrightsboro Road fast food restaurant. It happened around 8:00. Monday evening, at the Captain D’s Seafood, located at 3166 Wrightsboro Road.  The GBI now reports that the suspect who was killed by the off-duty officer was carrying an air rifle or “BB gun.“  An autopsy is scheduled on the subject, who died last night.

Many of you saw our coverage last week of former Richmond County Sheriff’s Deputy Wesley Powell’s offensive dash cam video. The video was over 13 minutes of profanity, racial slurs, and sexual conversations on his cell phone. We now have the entire video online.
