Gas Prices Across Georgia Jump In Wake Of Rising Oil Prices

Gas Prices Across Georgia Dip Below $2 Mark
Gasoline prices across Georgia have fallen below the $2 a gallon mark. AAA said prices at the pumps have tumbled more than a dollar in the past month.

Gas prices across Georgia and S. Carolina continue to retreat
Georgia motorists are paying less to fill up the gasoline tank. The average statewide price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.09 Monday. AAA Georgia said that’s a drop of $1.39 cents over the past month. The national average price for regular is $2.24 a gallon.

AAA: Gas prices across Ga. continue sharp decline
Gasoline prices continue to plummet across Georgia and the nation. According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular is $2.66 Monday. AAA reports the statewide average for regular is $2.52 a gallon Monday.

CSRA Native, Who Pitched For The Tampa Bay Rays, Watching World Series Closer Than Most
Game one of the World Series is Wednesday night in Saint Petersburg, Florida…the Tampa Bay Rays are in the “Fall Classic” for the first time in team history, and one CSRA native will be watching closer than most. Kevin Lynn has been a pitcher in the Rays organization for the last four years. WJBF News Channel 6’s John Hart has more.

Georgia reporting shorter lines at gas stations
Shorter lines are being reported at gas stations in the metro Atlanta area, but deliveries are being consumed by motorists anxious to find gas. Colonial Pipeline operates the main artery for gas coming in to terminals in the Atlanta area from the Gulf Coast. The flow was back to pre-hurricane levels on Monday.

Gas prices across Ga. exceed national average
Gasoline prices across Georgia are higher than the national average, according to AAA. The other problem is finding fuel for your vehicle. The auto club reports the average statewide price for regular unleaded is $3.94 a gallon Monday. The national average is $3.64 for a gallon of regular.

Local Gas Stations Struggle To Keep Fuel In Their Tanks
A week after Hurricane Ike hit Texas, many local gas stations are still struggling to keep fuel in their tanks. And, many drivers are getting frustrated as they drive from place to place, looking for gas. Driving around, for the most part, we’re all seeing the same two situations…either an empty gas station with no gas, or a very crowded one with a long-awaited fresh supply.
