PICKENS, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina’s Park Service is launching a new service so folks can use the Internet to track the changing fall colors.
The service this week unveiled a new webcam at Table Rock State Park north of Pickens to accompany its weekly updates on the fall foliage.
This week’s first report found the sourwood trees are beginning to turn colors, as are the leaves of some smaller trees. The report said cooler nights and sunny days this week should soon bring more color.
The webcam is available by clicking the “Fall Foliage Information” link on the Park Service home page at SouthCarolinaParks.com.
