Columbia, SC—A pilot and co-pilot killed in a learjet crash in South Carolina died from smoke inhalation and burns. That was the word, Monday, from the Lexington County Coroner. He also says two passengers were killed by the impact.
This video of the crash from a police dash cam was just released, Monday night. Former Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, and celebrity disc jockey, DJ AM, were critically injured in the Friday night crash but are expected to recover. They are being treated at the Joseph M. Still burn Center at Doctors Hospital, in Augusta.
Federal officials say the crew thought a tire blew out, as they were taking off.
