Augusta, GA—Richmond County investigators are on a massive search for the person or persons responsible for shooting and killing 23-year-old Jezreel Hammond.
The home invasion happened at Hammond’s grandmother’s house, overnight.
Investigators spent the morning searching for clues and passing out flyers, in hopes someone has information.
Authorities tell us, at this point, they don’t know if this shooting was drug- or gang-related.
We talked to someone who says the neighborhood isn’t what it used to be.
Investigators say this makes Richmond County’s 21st homicide, this year.
