There are two Nicky D’s…one in Warren, Michigan and one in Detroit, Michigan. The thing is…Nicky D’s uses a somewhat arch, and even the same colors as McDonalds.

Last month, a lawyer with the famed McDonald’s issued a strongly worded letter to the owner of Nicky D’s warning of copyright infringement.

Despite this, the owner says he named the restaurant after his nephew. He also believes his neighbors’ beef patties are no match for his corned beef.
